Ingredients:
For Meatballs:
- 2 shallots (finely chopped)
- 2 garlic cloves (finely chopped)
- 1 red chilli (finely chopped)
- 100g minced beef
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- ¼ tsp white pepper powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp sesame oil
- 2 Julie’s Golden Crackers biscuits (crushed)
- 1 egg
- 1/8 cup of flour (can adjust)
For Pasta:
- 60g spaghetti
- 200g tomato pasta sauce (or canned tomato sauce)
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Salt (for pasta water)
Directions:
- Prepare the meatballs
Chop shallots, garlic, and chilli. In a bowl, mix minced beef with soy sauce, white pepper, black pepper, and sesame oil. Marinate for 30 minutes. Add fine crushed Golden Crackers biscuits, chopped shallots, garlic, chilli, and egg. Mix well.
Roll into even-sized meatballs. - Cook the meatballs (Air fryer)
Preheat air fryer to 180°C. Place meatballs in the basket (don’t overcrowd). Air fry for 10–12 minutes, turning halfway, until golden brown and cooked through. - Cook the pasta
Boil a pot of salted water. Add pasta and cook until al dente (about 8–10 minutes). Drain.
Make the sauce
Heat olive oil in a pan, add tomato sauce, and simmer gently for 3–4 minutes.
Toss in the cooked pasta and mix until well coated. - Combine & serve
Place pasta on a plate, top with air-fried meatballs.
